About Ginger & Spice
Vietnamese kitchen serving up some of your favorite Vietnamese foods. Come try the best Pho and Banh Mi in town!
Located at 2001 N Preston Rd #70, Prosper, TX 75078, Ginger & Spice operates as a vietnamese serving Prosper in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ4 pm. Prosper is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Prosper follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It's nice cute little Vietnamese place. It reminds me of my favorite hole in the wall I went to for my first bowl of pho and frequented regularly as a teenager. Immediately when you walk in, it smells delicious, like ginger, bone broth, chicken, beef, and mint. Like the aroma of a wonderful home cooked bowl of soup on a cold day. I got chicken pho, regular size (I would say comparable to a large most places), and the broth was better than anywhere I've had it in all of dfw. It tasted like a wonderful homemade bone broth with a lovely ginger aroma and rich ginger flavor! Simple, but very delicious! It was dark meat, which sometimes gets a bad rap, but it was very lean and tasty! There was a generous amount of noodles and chicken! Definitely recommend, I will be back! There were two kind girls working hard doing everything. Taking orders, bussing tables, bringing food. It was clean, and the food was great! What more could you ask for? Pictures are as brought out, and 2nd is dressed with mint, lime, bean sprouts, and hoisin sauce. Yum!

Ordered lemongrass chicken rice and Pho with meatballs. You can tell the chicken were frozen and then grilled without seasoning because we could still taste the raw meat, not completely cooked. Meatballs were the same, had that raw taste in all of them, totally not worth $16. Parking spots were difficult to find, mostly reserved for tenants.

The restaurant is cute and clean. The presentation of food was great. We ordered a few appetizers, pho, grilled pork and papaya salad. Shrimp spring rolls were great. The pickle vegetables were great, but the grilled pork was too sweet for me. Pho was okay.

I actually love this place. Have been about 5 times so far. I decided to order DoorDash and I got bright red brisket on top of my food with cooked brisket. It would make more sense if this was in the restaurant since the beef will be cooked longer in the bowl with broth but the broth was packaged separately from the contents so this was just sitting raw with cooked brisket underneath. I added photos below with the clearly uncooked meat and the photos when I eat in person.

Awesome place for pho! Loved their fried wings, one of the best ones weβve ever had. Pho is amazing!! Much better than the ones we had in LA. The Vietnamese coffee is also very good. Highly recommend to try it out ;)
